Our third annual meeting took place on May 10th, 2025 at the UC Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory in Bodega Bay, CA.
The 2025 Northern California Geobiology Symposium (NorCal Geobio) has been initiated to increase collaborative work in geobiology across sub-disciplines (e.g., paleontology, biology, chemistry, geology), habitats (terrestrial versus marine), timescales (modern versus deep time), and NorCal institutions. We hope to build a network of researchers at various career stages throughout our region, and to provide an inclusive environment in which to share knowledge.
Our meeting is free to attend and focused on students and postdocs.
We encourage scientists from all career stages to attend this conference, however, abstract submissions for talks and posters will be restricted to undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs.
